Though challenging, we absolutely loved building this patio! The customer ask was for a simple, yet modern entertainment area to match the flow and design of their new home. Our solution was being one of the first contractors in Iowa to be using this style of wall block called County Tribute 2.0 Smooth and looks oh so good!
For the steps, we used County Passageway Step units in Vision, matched with a field of Grand Discover pavers in Majestic. For the courses, we went with a sailor course in Reflection (the black one) and a solider course in Vision (the white one). Building the wall, we matched the field and went with the Majestic color, accented with a Vision band, topped off with Vision color caps.
Finishing it off, we added the blue basin rock, a few accent boulders, Flare Hydrangea, Chameleon Little Bluestem Grasses, and sod.
Of course, we added downlighting on the seat wall. In all, we have a beautiful paver patio with a matching seat wall, hence – the project name!
